    • Avoiding redundant sampling of same series (e.g., Chetek)
  2. Future Considerations
    • Potential to incorporate parent material-based selection
    • Discussion needed with Randy about LA approach
    • Interest in reviewing historical land use patterns
    • Need to address spatial gaps in current sampling

    • Central Saint Paul area (primarily residential)
    • Need to balance between parks and residential areas
    • Parks often show industrial site conversion history
    • Importance of residential sites for minor components
  2. Value of Park Sampling

    • Examples from recent sites:
      • Trout Brook (former railroad site)
      • Swede Hollow (artifacts and dense materials)
