  • Location: North Minneapolis community garden sites
  • Sites: All are former residential lots converted to community gardens
  • Tuesday: Standard community garden sites (2 normal urban lots + 1 small triangular lot at 1601 Goodwind)
  • Wednesday: 4 sites total, teams will split into 2 groups
  • Contact: Working with Marcus
  • Note: Coffee available at Misfit Coffee off Glenwood

48.1.2 Thursday - White Bear Lake

  • Sites: 2 locations confirmed
  • Status: Still awaiting some resident responses and utility markings
  • Challenge: Utilities working ~2 weeks out, residents slower to respond in summer

48.1.3 Friday - Anoka Sandline (Roseville Area)

  • Sites: 2 locations (sites A5 and A6)
  • Special Event: Peace celebration setup assistance requested
  • Plan: Complete 2 sites simultaneously at 9 AM, then help with event setup starting at 12:30 PM
  • Attendees committed: Adam, Kylie, Brianna

  • Brooklyn Park: 1 site confirmed, waiting on 3rd site
  • Minnetonka: 9 emails sent for potential sites on 25th-26th

  • Brianna: Available all week
  • Ava: Can step in if needed, has lab work priorities
  • Kylie: Prefers Thursday July 3rd off (flexible if needed)

  • Weekly meetings: 15-minute Monday meetings starting

  • Purpose: Project coordination, hour tracking, new part-time lab member integration
  • New project: 180 samples to process quickly (non-grinding work)

48.4.1 Fill Material Classification - Ryder Anderson

  • Question: How to classify multiple fill events in soil profiles
  • Guidance:
    • Lump similar fills together (e.g., sandy loam + loam = one horizon)
    • Separate distinctly different fills (e.g., loamy fill vs. high-artifact skeletal material)
    • Label as horizon 1 and 2 when significantly different

48.5 Administrative Updates

48.5.1 Survey Responses - Adam Devlin

  • Task: Review new May/June residential site submissions
  • Action: Add new sites to AGOL mapping system with rankings
  • Goal: Identify high-priority sites for future scheduling

48.5.2 Staffing Adjustments

  • Wednesday: Brianna may join field team for extra site, then work lab Thursday
  • Thursday: Reduced field team (2-3 people sufficient for 2 sites)
  • Flexibility: Team members can shift between field and lab work as needed
