  • Current Week: No Wednesday sampling (dropped ball on scheduling)
  • Friday Plans: Plymouth sampling on west metro (3-4 team members)

55.3.2 Upcoming Field Schedule

This Week (Week of October 6): Friday, October 10: Plymouth west metro sites. Team includes Kasia, Kellen, Julia (to be confirmed).

Next Week Options: Pig’s Eye site visit (Wednesday or Friday potential). Continue park-based sampling where accessible.

55.3.3 Target Areas and Gaps

Anoka-Hennepin School District Initiative:

  • Adam emailed facilities coordinator Friday (October 3). Submitted list of target schools for access
  • Rationale: Significant geographic gap in Anoka Sand Plain coverage

South St. Paul Residential:

  • Homeowner outreach in progress
  • Target Area: Above river terrace, mapped as till plain

  • Location: Park straddling Sand Plain/Till Plain boundary. Sandier uplands, mostly organics in wetland
  • Kellen’s Team: Wetland at second site, hit till at bottom of first site
  • Adam’s Innovation: Survey123 integrated with map for real-time photo monitoring

55.4 Data Entry Workflow Coordination

55.4.1 Missing Data Resolution

Transition Period Sites (Late September):

  • Problem Identification: Sites 123-135 missing various documentation components
  • Key Contributors: Bailey, Patty, Joe, Brandon field crews
  • Kasia’s Initiative: Backtracking to identify gaps and responsible parties

Specific Site Issues:

Sites 130-135 (Patty’s Team):

  • Status Update (Nora): Patty submitted Survey123 for sites 132, 133, 134, 135 with all photos
  • Site 131: Julia submitted survey; Patty has photos but cannot edit Julia’s submission
  • Resolution: Photos forwarded to Kasia for Drive upload; Brianna pulls from both sources

Sites 123-129 (Bailey’s Team):

  • Challenge: No description sheet photos taken in field
  • Impact: Cannot match Bailey’s photos to specific site numbers
  • Current Status: Waiting for description sheet scans
  • Brianna’s Workflow: Scanning paused until Survey123 submission (needs coordinates)
  • Workaround: Brianna to photograph description sheets with phone and send to Kasia
  • Kasia’s Role: Will submit Survey123 entries, then notify Brianna for scanning

Site 118 (Adam):

  • Technical Issue: Survey123 won’t allow submission
  • Coordinate Problem: Degrees/minutes/seconds format instead of decimal degrees
  • Solution: Adam remaking entire point for resubmission
  • Temporary Access: DMS coordinates available on sheet for conversion if needed

  • Brianna’s Contribution: Data organization enabling systematic analysis
